You were invited to join Idun Lodge-Sons of Norway on a day trip (via Badger Bus) to Green Bay on Saturday, August 6th, to see the reproduction Viking ship Draken Harald Hårfagre as part of the Tall Ships Festival there.
The Draken completed a harrowing journey across the North Atlantic and is currently making its way through NY rivers and canals to the Great Lakes, stopping at ports along the way.
See www.drakenexpeditionamerica.com for some amazing photos and videos!
This was a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see an extremely realistic, fully functional Viking ship. And the opportunity might even appeal to some of your family, friends and colleagues…whether or not they have a drop of Viking blood!
