The Scandinavian American Club invites you to Julfest 2011

Enjoy an evening with a traditional Scandinavian three course dinner, Lucia festivities, tombola (raffle), holiday crafts, and a visit from Santa.

Saturday, December 17th - 4:00pm

3:00 pm Lucia practice

4:00 pm Social Hour and First Course

5:00 pm Dinner

Adult: $20 + dish serving 10-12 or $30 without a dish

Senior Discount: $5 off adult price ($15 + dish, $25)

Children 12 and Under: $5

SAC will provide the main courses (lox, baked salmon, roast lamb, and ham), Glögg, soft drinks, and amenities to ensure a joyous celebration!  Please bring your own wine or beer.  We welcome any contribution to the Julfest table; the dishes listed at the end of the invite have proven very popular during past celebrations.

We will be selling tickets until we are full. To have a chance to get a ticket, please RSVP as soon as possible.

When you click RSVP/ Buy Tickets you will have the opportunity to purchase tickets via PayPal (credit card or debit card; you do not need a PayPal account). If you prefer to pay via check then do not select any tickets and mail your check, made out to Scandinavian American Club, to Maria Sandgren, 436 Little Bear Dr, Middleton, WI 53562.  If you decide to send payment via check please still click RSVP/ Buy Tickets to provide your RSVP info.

There are numerous ways to help out (setup, cleanup, craft table, Santa and more); please indicate your preferences in the RSVP question on helping out (after clicking RSVP/ Buy Tickets).  The more the merrier!

Lucia/Christmas songs practice: anyone, children and adults, who is planning on taking part in the Lucia procession during the Julfest is welcome. Please RSVP to umuller@wisc.edu latest on the Friday before each practice.  Practices:  December 3 2:30pm – 4:00pm – Ulrika’s house, December 10 2:30pm – 4:00pm – Ulrika’s house, and December 17 3:00pm – 4:00pm (preceding the event) – Idun Lodge
